Default Wraith power plant????

Hello, has anybody tried the new Wraith Novak Timbuk2 system? Is it worth the money? Or should I look for something different?

Avoid Novak! If you want brushless go Tekin 13.5 and a Mamba Max Pro. Check out my sticky in the Wraith section.

13.5 tekin is a good choice. I don't agree with Josh on the Novak front. The Goat and Goat 3S have been fine crawling systems for me. I have a TON of hours on my Goat. Cheaper than the Tekin, but I do think the Tekin is better.

Tekin RS + 13.5 is what I'm running in my Wraith.

The Novak drag brake programming is garbage. Every time I drive any Novak ESC equipped rig I want to punt it across the rocks. I have also yet to see any company have the failure rate or have advertised features just flat out not work like Novak has.

Forget what I said about Novak. I'm getting more and more bummed as I read thread of after thread about how far down the hill they have gone :( It's too bad to see a once respected name in the industry turn to garbage.

I'd go Tekin, you can't go wrong there

The M2 was a complete disaster but now they have continued with the new Timbuk 2. They are claiming this "Rock Boost" of 3s speeds on 2s. When in reality it's just not happening. They do indeed keep going downhill because they refuse to abandon some old crap programming. I asked them at one time about working with them on it, they declined.
