I am new to the whole crawling thing and just finished my truck and was wondering where some good places in the area to go are. Been in RC for about 10 years, boats, cars, trucks, planes and helis. My truck is an AX-10 with CC Mamba Max, CC BEC, Integy 55t lathe motor, JR Z650 and Spektrum DX7 radio. I just oredered the rear steer kit and a few other upgrades. Another question I have is about setting up the radio. I would like to have it so the left stick is throttle and rear steer and the right stick is front steer. However I would like to have channel mixing set up with one of the 3 position switches, so say in position 1 it is only front steer and rear steer disabled, position 2 it would crab walk and position 3 it would turn opposite of the front. Then I could still use the left stick to control how much throw and not have the same as the front. If there is anyone that would be able to help me set that up once I get the rear steer installed I would not hesitat to compensate you for you time. I appreciate your time and hope to see some of you out on the rocks.

Glad to hear of another crawler in the area. You should definitely stop out to a comp or GTG. Although if you want to compete you will need to disconnect the 4 wheel steering.

As for the mixing, check out the RCC main page. There is an article on how to mix a DX6 for dual ESC's. You can use that as a guideline and just use the process.

Do we have the new point standings yet? If I am correct I should still be in third, just two points behind Randy

Well, I had a great time yesterday. Big thanks to Jerry and Scott for all your guys hard work. I know it takes some time to do all the behind the scenes stuff.

Congrats to Matt for the win. Blew a locker out and still finished the course!

I will probably be out of town for the next comp, so I will drop down a bit on the standings.:-( But its all good, I have so much fun it doesn't really matter on the points.

Lets start talking about a scale comp, so I can get my scale rig going. I work best under pressure of a deadline to meet.

Randy you get to drop your lowest score I think. So it won't matter at the end of the year.

Default R.I.I liberty

it's been very a black week here at the DmG.
my father (aka) liberty justice passed away this Wednesday .:-(
he was a one of a kind man , a good husband & father for his 53 years of life, and will be missed greatly by everyone who new & loved him.

so, i will not be out this crawling Saturday as planed , but don't let this keep everyone who still wants to crawl , please go ahead.
i think i should be around for the family this week-end.

thanks jerry

I'm so sorry to hear that Jerry, LMK if you need anything. As you can see, were all here if you need anything. We'll just see ya at the next comp then.

If anyone is interested, I'm planning on going to Hill Park about noonish on Sat. I think Josh said he'd be there too. Any body else up for it? Figured it would give everybody a chance to familiarize themselves with the spot. See if we can find some new lines. I'll bring the weed eater, and the practice gates.

See ya there!
