X2. I plan on attending at least a few of the KCRC comps this season, and would be more than willing to co-judge to not only help out but to also become more familiar with the rules.

Awesome Josh, we all thank you

Alright flatcrawlr, grab your rig and a camera, and check it out!
Your fairly close to Shawnee Mission park, right?

Hey KSCrawler, anything out your way? Can't remember how far out you are.
You were SW of KC, right?

Looks like the game is a foot .
Good hunting!

It is a public park, there should be no restrictions unless posted.

I spent a whole day with Scott at the challenge. I am ready to judge when ever. I think it should be like racing, where you have to turn marshal after your race. At least start people running the timer with a judge to see how its done.

I thought Jerry said we were doing longview spillway on the 12th. I hope so, I already switched my tires out.

Yep, about 3 hrs SW, just south of Salina. Not much to crawl on near by, but T Boy has mentioned a spillway just north of Wichita. We're planning to go check it out soon, will report back with pics...

Yup, I am close. ScaryClownGuy and Iconpoker are too. I am thinking about going out there on Thursday to scope some potential spots. I just sent Brian(SCG) a text to see if he wanted to meet out there tomorrow afternoon, 430ish...IconPoker you in? Should have a report later tomorrow.

Shouldn't be too many ticks this time of year, but in the summer, yeah...tons. I think ScaryClownGuy has a spot down by the damn...

I would like to nominate that we try to crawl EXCLUSIVELY on natural rock if possible. I know it will be tough to find new spots BUT, it will be worth it.

All these tumbled rock and rock wall spots are getting old.....

Just my .02

Oh and am I supposed to bow to Randy now? Not gonna happen....

Natural rock all the way!

That is one thing that the indoor course at FLR did better than any other indoor course I have ever seen. It gave off the feeling that it was a natural course.

Really the only one I crawled at hat I didn't like was longview, just felt like a crazy parking lot (not to mention al the carnage!).

hay guys
Adair park is lock up 75% of the time is have seen it , i worked in that area for 10 years and allmost ever seen it open.
the only time it i ever seen open is when theres a 3/2 soft ball game going on. it is a public park, but only for baseball use only.

if we plan on NOT crawling on man-made stuff , then we better find more places to go to , fast !!!

if we give up running at long view & the wall at 63rd st , that leaves us 2 places all year to crawl at ,unless we come with more spots soon.

if we have only 2 spots to crawl at , now were going to get super burned out on those 2 crawling spots, real fast !!
we should not give up on ANY crawling spots until we find new ones !

my self i don't care where i crawl at, natural or man-made ,as long as i can do some crawling and have some fun, what dose it matter on what you crawl on as long as where out there doing it. we should be happy with we have so far and keep the places we have right now , until we find new places.
we should not stop going to the places that might not be the best place to crawl, until we have new places to go to.

just my thought

Freq E Tag...would you like some cheese with your whine? We can't just give up the spots we have. Especially with our limited # of current spots. But if you want to stay home on those events, that'll just help my points!
And No, You can just continue to bow to me if you like !

Natural rock is great, but we have to work what we have. As for SMP, ya, tick city. And not much to speak of out there that I can remember. But if you guys find something, take some good pics

Alright, where's the next comp?
And, where's this weekends GTG? Sat is calling for 65* and sunny.
We need to get out there guys.

One last thing, when do we need to be up at FLR to tear down stage 1?
