I've run the Cross a total of 2 times. The axles are just horrible. I just got mine today and ordered the AL shock mounts before hand. The axles do seem weak. I was informed before i bought the MC6 that the axles were close to the ax10 width. Wrong!
I have a build thread started on the goods and bads while assembling.

Ill watch your thread. The cross axles end up being 173mm wide iirc. The yota 2's I can get withing 2 to 3mm's with narrow hexes. close enough for me. I gota work out the mounting of the yota 2's but I think im going to be tapping an m3 hole in the top of the axles for a ball joint so they mount the same way as the cross axles
