Darkhorse, it's not styrene, it's Depron foam. The base layer is 5mm, and the detail layer is 3mm. Once the shape is done it'll get a layer of epoxy, with some .030 Lexan for windows and styrene hinges. I'll do the bumper in brass as well as the light cages. Cab floor will be aluminum to bolt up to the frame.

I drove my 8X8 today and shot some video for Uni and Micro, then I tore it all apart for a new suspension and chassis. I'll try to get the video up tomorrow. |
