I still dont know if this will include an ESC or receiver, or if its a kit or RTR or what, I hope with the number or US dealers on the rise it will bring with it better info and descriptions because its pretty sparse now.

I've never been a fan of sound kits but the flagship model includes one so I guess I'll have to give it a try, racing games have made me pretty picky about sound. It would be sweet if there were a dynamic sound kit that could vary the sound for different loads at the same rpm.
There goes that bonus! I hope you wind up with something to show for it ;)

Nice! Make sure to post when you have it in hand!

Between the Vanquish Origin and Cross BC8.... I'd rather have the BC8.

Awesome photos! The shocks look like a let down, but everything looks great.

Yeah my favorite, shocks that aren't....shocks. They look to be mounted either behind or in front of the A arms so maybe a real shock can be made to fit.

I'm trying to figure out the steering linkage, it looks like it may be connected by cables possibly but its hard to tell for sure. I do see a bell crank setup.

Nah I can take it, I expect even once I get it there will be a lengthy build.
Plus I have 2 projects on my bench that need a few finishing touches though I keep getting distracted.

I see RPP has added this to the Cross RC stuff they will carry, though they've marked it up $250, ouch

https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/czr-bc8f.htm

Id prefer to order through RPP but I'll stick to the original US Dealer with that mark up, maybe they weren't able to get a dealer discount yet.

EDIT: also if you look at RPP's product page they've added a few pictures I havent seen yet, I see all of the axles are CVDs which is awesome

and from their product page whats required:

"Requires:
Assembly and the addition of TX, RX, steering servo, ESC, battery, and suitable charger"

Finally some actual info! though I'm left wondering if it really needs just 1 servo or 2 or 3? It has a 2 speed with 2 steering axles so .... im guessing 3

Soooo.... now I see the price has changed on both models, thats a bit messed up.
the Flagship model is now listed at 1399.99 it used to be 1199.99
Standard is now 1199.99 was around 900 before.

I'm going to contact the guy running the US store to see what the deal is and if they'll honor the original price because thats a bit of a bait and switch.

That'd be seriously jacked up if they tried to switch your balance due at this point!
