Maybe I missed it somewhere, but is there entry fees and pay-outs at the finals? I would think that earning a nationals invitation is a pretty decent prize. Just wondering.

See above for updated state qualifiers from the Four Corners. I forgot that you had to compete in 4 events to qualify for state.

Default State?

If we had to go to four events for state qualification, then how did the albq guys use just one event to decide who goes?

I understand that they are not using the scores from past events this year/ season to determine who goes, (thats cool) but only the scores from the very last event will be used.
does this also mean that they have to have attended four events as well?

I'm not trying to make a mess, but would like to know:
1. who is going from albq.
2. how many total drivers there are?
3. a map to the comp site?
4. entry fees to state? WINNINGS?
5. DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE A SUPER IN ALBQ? ( attending state? )
6. Camping or motel?
7. more than one day of competition?

I am coming down, but this all helps me to make a plan for what to bring when to leave and where to go. motel or camping, i dont mind camping i prefer it. and i dont mind helping out. LOOKING FOWARD TO THE CHALLENGE!!! LET ME KNOW THANKS.

If you see, ABQ regional finals was listed as "COMP #5", meaning there were 5 comps in the series, which just like you did, we had to attend at least 4. No games going on here. Take the 5 scores, drop the lowest, compute points based on your 4 best finishes. If you only made 4 comps, those are what your score will be based from.

There will be 10 invites from ABQ and 10 from Farmington in each class at State, meaning 20 for each class (if there are that many competitors eligible).

Ill let the ABQ guys answer the rest of the questions.

Hope that helps.

Ok everyone Here is a link with a map to the comp site. www.freewebs.com/nmorl/ There is a $10.00 comp fee.All money collected will be paid to the winners to help get them to the US Nats. All prizes for the winners haven't arrived yet so I don't know exactly what they are. This year everyone attending the ORG will be paying $10.00 dollars to get into the gates. Camping is permitted. Depending on how many people want to camp out at the comp site.

There is going to be alot of work to do on the 30th.so please come out and help.Everybody coming out please bring pics of your favorite obsticles fromyour area to recreate them.We have alot of resorses to make this work any way we want. This will be a permanant comp site.

anymore questions give me a call 228-8743

If thats $10 per person forget bringing the family. $40 to get the family in then another $20 each for me and sons comp fees. $80 bucks to go crawling on a man made course. Yuk!! Winnings might cover the some of it I guess.:-(

Like the saying goes. You wanna play. You gotta pay.Nothing in life is free.
A majority of the money generated from the ORG will be donated to the NM childrens hospital. So it will be going to a worthy cause.

A couple of questions :
1 I didnt see any 1.9 scores posted , did you( Main Chapter ) have anybody that made 4 comps in 1.9 ?
2 : I'm pretty sure you didnt have any Super comps , do the bids go to the 2 guys that did compete all series in Super Class?

The 2.2 class looks like its going to be a great competition , alot of great compeditors, I cant wait to see you guys again
