Yep, was good summit country for sure. AND may have suckered in someone's gramma into the sport, to boot! She was even older than Terry!

TX Waterproofing kits... you know, that's now TWO people I know who could use such a thing.

Looks like using my summit radio for my scalers three speed is a bust....cant get it to act like a 3 pos switch...it actually works like (2) two pos switches....up and down...ugggg . So I'm going to concentrate on waterproofing the wraith and F350..... perhaps my transmitter too! Hehe!

There's been several posts about that actually being a 2pos switch. Kinda drives me nuts.

My TF2 kit may show up on Saturday, or maybe Tuesday. The Holmes gear arrived today, the CKRC stuff yesterday. Now I just gotta convince Terry to get that Boyer rig

Ill have to keep a better eye on this thread , maybe I could catch up with you guys some time , by the way Im Chris , I have been in the rc hobby for about 20 years mostly in rc pulling and the last few years HPI Bajas .I got my first crawler about 5 months ago and I have 5 now , 2 wraiths , dingo ,honcho and a wreckluse . I have been a member of the CNY RC WEIGHT PULLERS for 18 years and was the V.P. of the club for awhile . We had an event last weekend and just for fun I took the crawlers , they pull pretty well .

Well, it sounds like you guys are all around me. I grew up in Manlius, before the McMansions;), lived about a mile south of Pixley Falls when I worked on the base in Rome, moved to Cicero for a few years, and now I'm in Cleveland, on the north side of the lake. 40 acres, and not rock to be found :(. sbb, have been on the backside of Green Lakes, near the turn off to Minoa. There's a parking area for a trail that leads to Round lake. Mostly shale, but there's a few rock piles and steep hill with a big out-cropping. I would guess any of the creeks would be great this year (no rain... until today anyway). Fish creek, Limestone, Chittenango, Salmon, Moose ...

I've done airplanes, for decades, just started with Helicopters and the crawler. Who knows, maybe some day I'll actually get my Berg put together and join you guys.

I'm game, for sure. But some idiot decided to scratch-build an interior for his TF2 so he's been a bit preoccupied. Good lord, I'm horrible at this stuff lol. But I will say that cutting with sewing thread is just plain cool.

Kayak, I know that "rock park" you mention. Looked ok for scaler bashing, but the more crawl-specific rigs would think they were on pavement.

Anyway, back to getting these parts unglued from my fingers. Will check back in the morning to see what's on the plate!

Funny you mentioned that, we were talking about putting in a puller or possibaly a sand drag coarse also.still in the thinking stage! But the more input I get as in my other endeavors they will force me to build it.we wil do pretty much what we have to to accommodate the racers.

I think you need to build something that can freakin sand these things by pushing a button. And paint.
