These are a great inexpensive solution. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting I run them with the stock red traxxas springs in the front and the stock "blue" axial springs in the rear. I'm running 1000wt diff oil in them. I put in the stock bump stops in the shocks to limit the travel and lower the CG. I'm running about 3in clearance. I also mounted the shocks upside down. Gets the weight a little lower and it helps keep the lower spring retainers from getting popped off. They're threaded so you can dial in the pre-load. I'm building some mounts to move out the rear shocks so they're more vertical. Helps with the torque twist on the climbs. Going to the CKRC stage 2 mounting also helps alot. Hot Racing make a decent pair of 120mm threaded shocks as well, but I haven't personally run them. Cheers, Rob Last edited by rdtshaw; 01-27-2008 at 11:29 PM. |

You dont need much so you could prob. build 25 to 30 shocks. |
