There isn't the best. There is only opinions. The Best rig you can get is one you Build, Tune, Test and Drive with. The Rig is only has good as the Driver. First choose either MOA or Shafty. Do you like the idea of having two motors, Electonic Digs or do you like having a Tranny and DriveShafts. Once you figure that out. Read up on what axles you like. Pick one...Knowing how to build your own rig and how it works will help you more. If you like MOA. I'd go towards Bullys over Bergs. If you like Shafties. It would be a hard choice for me. Losi or Axial.... Leaning more towards the Losi.

A super that hasn't been mentioned is the XTM X-Crawler. Looks nice, but have never seen it in action. MOA with 4WS. Anyone have experience with this? hoppypeople.net carries it.

are there people running supers in your area? 2.2 is the dominate class dont get impatient, dont make a impulse purchase. READ the threads on 2.2 1.9 super and scale FIRST then also find out what your area crew is running.

Is it me or is this Pointless. Its like going to a random person in a grocery store and saying I have lotsa money whats the best Bag of cookies I can get... And well of course that person will likely point out what they have enjoyed eating for cookies for like the last 10 years. YOU NEED TO READ THE FORUMS AND FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU MIGHT LIKE AND TRY IT, OTHERWISE IF MONEY IS NO ISSUE BUY ONE OF EACH AND FIGURE IT OUT..LOL.. BAHHH Have a cookie..Oreo that is....Rant is over,,Peace.

WHY the XTM?????????????? so much better out there, if you dont want to build it yourself check out the for sale section. Not only will you get a good deal but a sick truck at the same time. Read lots before you make your decision. I love my clods but there are so many choices. My next ride will be a berg. |

I think the for sale section needs 30 posts and/or 30 days or go the easy route and support this great website and buy your way in $20 bucks I think.

If you want a Super.. Thats fine.. I would like more Super Class rigs out. But the XTM isn't the Best super axle. I would look at the Super Bullys from RC4wd.

http://www.atomicaxles.com/axles/builder.html They use a Ford 9" center section and D60 outers with a custom housing and inner shafts. At $3300 for just the housing and axle shafts I'm not going to be installing one any time soon. Last edited by BroncoAZ; 01-05-2010 at 06:28 PM.
