Exclamation What Motor for axial Scx10???

I have an axial Scx10 that Ive been using for about 8 months now and with going in water and mud Im starting to notice that the esc and motor are starting to take some hits from them. Anybody have any suggestions for a good motor that's better than the stock 27t motor? Ive looked at the traxxas xl5 waterproof esc and just trying to figure out what crawler motor would be best to mount that with?? any ideas? Yes ive followed the waterproof methods but decided to not fix something if its not broken when Ill be upgrading it later on. Everything else on the truck is bone stock.

If u plan on doing more water and mud runs look at either a 35t integy or cheaper rc4wd sealed can motors

Check out Holmes Hobbies line of goods. The BR-XL is good in the water, and they're a good quality unit.

They have some very high quality motors also! Actually, it's what they are known for.

They have combo's also:

I have used the Tamiya 540 J-Motor for mud running.

It is cheap and mine hasn't died yet from the water and mud.

In my better rigs I use the waterproof HH BRXL and Torque Master Expert 35T.

I have been running my 35 turn integy motor for a year and it is just at the point where it needs to be rebuilt! It's been good to me in the water and in the rocks so for $25.00 its a pretty good deal!
