Depends on your definition of "best". Looking or performance? The prolines are a good balance of performance vs. looks. Best looks would be an offering from rc4wd, best performance would be kyosho velvet coated.

I have to say Pro-line scaler shocks, there beefy, scale looking, easy to build and readily avalible. WIN WIN. |

What size is good? And are there different lengths that allow for more droop? I have an SCX10 also that I'd like to get some more articulation out of. It looks like it has the stock shocks, no external spring, and they are leaking. Opinions?

The stock 90mm, much higher and you will have issues with driveshaft angles, high center of gravity and stuff. You can lower it with shorter shocks but you then have clearance issues with the body unless you modify for that with cutting the body, smaller tires or something.

Here are a few pic's of my Jk on a GCM chassis and Proline scaler shocks. This truck work very well and with a little tuning will be great. Enough said. |

I have tried handfuls of shocks, stock were nice, rc4wd looked nice, pro-line power strokes, etc.. I finally landed on big bores with losi white springs, they have been awesome for me.. in any matter, testifies h an tuning with whatever shock you end up on, is key to ygm working for ur driving style an build.. me I didn't worry bout looks, as its a class 2.. I wanted performance..
