As far as I know they are the only ones to offer varied gear ratios for the diffs.

You can accomplish something similar on the TF2 as 'Dready' showed his brilliant ingenuity. Search on the TF2 section under tips. You could do this on any truck in theory.

What he did was to switch the input and output use on the transfer case. If the input is reduced down for the final drive to the F/R wheels, you can switch it so that the motor drives a high input and then you use a low for the rear and high for the front. Makes no sense, right? Check the thread if you're interested.

All the best

Thumbs up Re: over/under gearing question?

thanks for the reply, i kinda was hoping to hear the rc4wd alum axles can swap gear ratios. Then again axial's are cheap and every option is there for them.

thanks again.-arick

My Wheely King axles have over/under gearing options. Out of the nitro RS4 and Savage I believe. I just did mine and it works great.

If you want aluminum, both integy and VP make aluminum axels that use Axial gears. That said, all Axial axels use the same gears.
