Default how much weight to add and best area?

Hi,
Is weighting wheels a good thing?
I'm asking because I thiught I heard lighter is better nowadays. If so how much weight and where is best?

Knuckle weights are much better than wheel weights. Wheel weights rob power and put stress on the drivetrain. How much you use depends on your rig and where you want the weight bias to be.

Are vanquish knuckles weighted?

I run 2.5 oz sticky weights in my front wheels and my battery in the front on my scx its a heavy rig overall but is also top heavy so I added some weight down low to try and keep from rolling over backwards.

Knuckle Weights are added to existing knuckles. RCBros » Knuckle Weights

Yes. Go rcbros weights. Go knuckle weights. They are much more customizable. They allow you to put the weight at a single point instead of all over and bouncing around in ur wheels my rig is under 4 pounds. I use 3 half weights from rcbros on the front. Never crawled better.
