Default CC01 Battery Questions

Hi,

Just got a CC01 Tamiya loving it so far.

Got three batteries to get started, my battery and charger as follows:

Duratrax Onyx NiMH 1500
Duratrax Onyx NiMH 3000
Venon NiMH 3000
Venon Pro 2 charger

1. What sort of run times would I get with 4000 or 5000 NiMH my 3000 gives me about 45-55 mins which I'm very pleased with.

2. The default charge rate for NiMH is set to 1AMP, it seems 1C charging is recommended so I should be pushing up the default amp settings.

Is there any negative in charging them at 1AMP, or should I be setting it to 1.5 amp and 3 amp respectively. I'm not really worried about

3. Is this charger any good, my local store recommended it, it's a little confusing in how it works but it does do the job.

any suggestions to make the batteries last with regards to fast or slow charge

back in the day it was slow and trickle charge guess thats not the idea now
