RIng & pinions should hold up fine I'Ve got at least 100 Packs run through 2 of them. Well At least my kids do. I've taken the cases apart to check the diffs. No abnormal wear. THese are the same diffs that come in the RS4 Nitro MT. They run at 4-5 packs a day since I bought them when they came out.

Mine probably has 30 packs in 4wd.
