My friend brought me his axial scorpion with an AX-1 transmitor that has a Crystal and said “the car doesn’t wor can you help me out” so I processed to pull it apart and I found a spektrum receiver with a bind plug in. I know it’s probably a stupid question but can the two be bound together? He said he has ran it with that controller but I don’t think the receiver was on it like he said it was. The receiver is a spektrum rs310 with a bind plug in. Any help would be appreciated.

I run a Losi comp crawler with rooster esc and 55:1 motor and spectrum 2.0 controller so I only know the binding process of the button.IMG_1827.HEIC

The AX-1 crystal type transmitter is not compatible with the SR310 Spektrum receiver.

"The Spektrum™ SR310 3-channel DSMR™ Sport Surface receiver is compatible
with all Spektrum DSMR and DSM2 surface transmitters"

Pick up a DX2E Active™ Radio System and it will work with it.

New, the DX2E ACTIVE 2Ch DSMR Radio comes with a SR310 and sells for $59.99...

Skip the DX2e, and just get a DX5c.... Its $109, but its a way better radio, and you can sell the SR415 rx that comes with it $60 on ebay.... or keep it for another truck...
