| Truck Pulling with a Crawler
As a kid, I was always fascinated when RCCA ran articles on truck pulling. Like most rc events of the 1980’s there were always interesting and custom builds featured in the magazine. I never got to go to an rc pull as a kid but I’ve never forgot them. Does anyone use their crawler for pulling at local events?

So crawers have some things going for them and other thing not.... Lots of torque.... crawlers have it. Horsepower.... well it depends, lol Low gearing.....easy lots of wheelspeed..... sometimes Strong drivetrain...... Yup Now what crawlers have that doesn't do them any good Lots of suspension travel Flexy chassis Small motor and soft tires Pulling requires big power, stiff chassis, and a lot of tire.... |
