Axial Capra Shock Bleeder Screw Question?

Hey guys, I just bought my first ever crawler and I got the Axial Capra Kit ... and I am currently assembling the shocks .. and in the manual, it saiz I should be using a 5 x 3mm bolt for the bleeder cap ... but the only bolts I have left in the shock bag are like 5 x 8mm.

Of coarse they thread into the bleeder hole, but they actually poke out inside the shock cap, which although is just inside the o-ring groove ... its close enough that I am worried it may grab / cut / pinch the o-ring on its way through.

A 3mm like listed in the manual would be far better suited, as it would do its job and not go right through the hole and poke into the shock.

Has anyone else ran into this issue? Did you install the longer bolt and hace had no problems? Or did you order a shorter bolt and not use the bolts that came with the kit?

The SCX10 III also states M3x5 in the manual, but what is in the parts bag is clearly an M3x8. My guess is the shorter screw would be more prone to stripping out the threads in the cap, so they switched to a longer one. I've had no issues with the caps having longer screws on either rig. Doesn't seem to be an issue.
