OK, I've watched the video like 50 times by now, when's a new one coming? I've got the T3 cut, the tranny fits sideways perfectly in the battery tray. Just need to get a body and WK axle and I'm set. |

How are you going about getting the droop set up for go-fast with the proper rebound and compression?

Thats not technically droop. Just internal springs over the pistons.

ok, so was looking for the wrong part name haha and in the meantime I made some mounts that should work. now I need to know what was used to mount the lower rear shocks on the control arms. And also what the full extension and full compressed length of the shocks are for front and rear. Can't afford the MSR5's right now so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. So far I've almost get the chassis put together just need shocks and a body to tune the scale and the suspension. |

I have to come in here and express my Love for these projects. I was so stoked to come across these builds in action on youtube. I have tried to leave you guys messages there but it doesnt seem to work. I may have to build one of these trucks in the very near future. I also plan to do a proper 5th scale version with a 4 link and proper TT body. The TT body is in the works as we speak. Here is a project I am still in the middle of... http://www.hpibajaforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=54788 When this is finished it is time to do a wild version, not so stock Please keep us updated with your progress, I know most of us cant get enough!!!!!! About a year ago I thought about hacking the rear off one of my Slashes and 4-linking a TLT axle under it instead. Now I've been re-inspired. Sweet looking conversions you guys have going on... |
