| front suspension...
Mark it looks as if your frame rails are running parrallel... Why not just narrow the front end in to make your IFS work like on a real truck... Just an idea.... |

i bent it in from the firewall forward like a real truck frame then bent the shock towers that where on the front down to make a place to mount the control arms. im going to try and weld in a upper and lower crossmember and try and make my own arms out of some rod ends we will see how that works. if not its gettin a straight axle.

You might be able to get by with using suspension arms from an RC18R. Those are pretty short. Not scale looking but it might get you rolling.

| I was going to say something like that or a Mini-T set of arms... Look at the 1/18 scale cars/trucks/buggies, I bet you will find something workable there. |

This thread inspired me to build one,I used a front clip from a slider and an axle from the mrc, frame from tcs and a clod body for the full size look, there are pics and a short vid of the suspension functioning side to side and front to back on rcfanatics.net. Thanks for the inspiration, this has been a fun and challenging thing to get working and I can't wait to finish it!

I found my next project, if only i can find a S-10 body. Would like to see how this build turns out. I am going to make a mini of my S -10. By the way my wife says she hates you for giving me another idea. Here is my 1:1 S-10. |
