like the idea, but because those wheel wells are so large the wheels look funny, you should get some of these for it. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVLD4&P=0 they are a much larger wheel (would be 24's in 1:1 world), and they will fill the wells much better. just my opinion. |

i wish i had more parts so i could get started. i was thinking about those hpi wheels cuz of the offset are they 2.2s? i like the look of these we'll see what happens i want to do some shaving on the body and prolly make it shinny we'll see when i get there who knows it might get some red steelies and flat black. |

i tore apart my losi and the rear end will work perfect so i need to pick one of them up. i also found out that a xtrail will be too short so ive made a template of the chassis so i can cut my own out. i have a few ideas in my head for making some kind of suspension thats adjustable either the front or the back maybe even both well see. i will post some pics up later of what i get done today.

you can do a cheap hydraulic setup on it with four servos, one at each corner, could do it with two for just front and back, just a thought would be cool,

well i went to my work and cut out a chassis its a little flimsy now but after all the braces and crossmembers are in it should be fine. the front arms are from an old pan car i had laying around i still have to find a spindle that has the bearings in it. the rear of the losi mrc fits nicely the notch will have rod going across to make the bridge a few shots with the grill in it |

i like it, i think building a lowered scaler would be cool. especially with servos to act as air bags.

His 1:1 S-10 was bad ass! To bad he had to sell it. Marc keep up the good work I know this will be one BAMF after seeing your S-10.

Love the idea and have been thinking about it lately as well. I have an X-Trail sitting around here too, and I actually have some narrowed TLT axles...... Now I just need to get a body I guess. Damn I even have the wheels and tires!!!!! |
