| Back from the dead!
Well its been a while since i touched this thing and i actually turned the bed into the bed on jpterbl1's brute build. Ive got a new bed for it and winters almost here so i figure nows the time to bring it back into the shop. Ive been doing some more bodywork and have a few more ideas for the front suspension so hopefully this time i can get this going and take some draggin videos(of coarse thats if theres no snow on the ground) Check back in a few days ill post up some pics |

that blue truck looks cool...but why the heck did they hack the bed sides up like that:?...I think I would have narrowed the rear end or picked different wheels.. and as for the lowrider RC...thats a very cool looking truck...makes me want a hilux lowrider |

what they did is the cheap way they could have put a rx-7 rearend under it and wouldnt had to cut the bedsides. | |

Seth, who built the truck did a awesome job. if you narrowed the rearend you would have a big gap between the bed and rim. if you used a rx7 rearend you would have tons of camber to clear the bed sides. back on topic, that hilux looks sweet. |

That project is tops! I feel right at home in this thread lol. My project may not be a mini, but it's along the same lines... I never realized so many minitruckers were into R/C? |

I said months ago i was going to get back on this but it never got anywhere. Ive had a few guys pm me asking if it was for sale but ive decided to dig it back out and get this thing done. Its now a roller again i think ive got the front end worked out jus got to get some things welded up before i take some more pics. And order a new bed. Thanks guys for liking this project so much i would of never thought something like this would be so popular on here. |
