I'm seriously considering putting a fin on mine as well.
I actually hate the fin that they put on her for 2011 lol. There's a member on OSE who made one for a PB MG hatch.

I got to meet Scotty Begovich (throttle man) last weekend at the Atlantic City Boat Show. Had a nice conversation about my Daytona lol.

Yeah, I think it's one of those things where you either hate it or love it. No in-between. I like it and was thinking it would make mine look different.

I hope to make it out to a big boat show someday and meet some of the guys like Scotty. That's cool that you got to do that.

I'd have to agree with that. Seems to be the common consensus about it.

Did you ever get your batteries for the boat?

Well here's the final product. Wet sanding and polishing is done along with a slight new ESC layout.

Well the Shelby just got some extra horse power. Picked up a new TP Power Pro Competition Series 4050 (measures 4082) 2200kV motor and black tubing from Fighter Cat.

New setup:

Sadly, Chris had to let go of this one. Maybe one day he'll return to the hobby (right Chris?) lol
