| Gimp's 37" Fighter Cat Daytona
Hull is being built by the one and only Tiqueman! FC Daytona Hull (FG) Carbon Fiber reinforcement T-180 ESC Leopard 4074 2200kV Running on 4s to start (will try 5s or 6s setups next year) FC 3/16" Strut FC 115mm Rudder (offset) mounted to transom .187" Flex Water cooled carbon fiber motor mount Carbon fiber battery trays Goal is to be consistent 50-60mph range. Haven't decided on paint yet. Thinking either a Ford GT theme or Kevin Harvick Budweiser NASCAR theme... |

Scott posted 2 pics of my hull before he starts. The 4s setup will probably be pretty temporary, it's just what I have now. I would like to try a 1800kV setup on 5s so I can at least use half of my batteries lol. The Ford GT theme is getting a lot of feedback, may have to go that direction. I guess there's already enough Bud boats lol. I have 4 color choices in mind.... blue/white (maybe even silver) white/blue silver/black heritage blue/orange Last edited by Gimp; 10-04-2011 at 12:21 PM. |

Not a huge fan of red to be honest. I think I'm definetly going with the GT40 Heritage theme. I'm going to get some GT37 and #6 decals made as well |

they are done by Bowtie here on the forum. the are printed on white and waterproof. i dont have any pics but they are this logo. you just cut on the outline and your golden. the white background completes the logo so paint doesnt show threw. http://www.cotswoldairport.com/UserF...20Logo%201.jpg can you rehost the hull pics? they are not showing up for me in firefox. all the GT40 pics show up though. |

I'm definitely going with the GT40 Heritage Blue and Epic Orange theme (Gulf race car of the 60's). It's getting the Gulf, #6, and custom FORD GT37 stripes. I'm so excited for this boat lol | |

| I've got a hundred different ideas knocking around in my head for mine. Just gotta decide on one. One idea was to do the Motion Marine theme but as GT370 or GT37. Right now I'm experimenting with tape to nail down a look. I added some flat black and silver tape stripes to the ugly red and it's looking pretty good. I just can't decide if I want a simple paint scheme like the GT430 or something more complicated like Aquamania. |

That looks sweet! It should be bullet-proof! Too bad it will be hidden though. Can't wait to see it in action soon. |
