Default I bought a cheap 50 mph brushless 1/8 buggy

I was messing around on Ebay looking for a brushless motor/esc setup and I stumbled upon this ZD Racing RTR 1/8 brushless 11v 3s buggy that boasts a 50mph top speed. At $179.00 RTR with brushless and battery and charger I couldn't resist so I bought it. It will be here in a couple days. I have never heard of this brand and it might be total crap but I liked the price.
Its made by ZD Racing? anybody have any experience with these?
wish me luck!

Here's the listing on Ebay:

I don't see the esc or motor mentioned in the listing. Hopefully you get those too!

My only concern with "no-name" brand rc's is parts availability. Not sure if there are parts readily available, but it sucks if you break something simply like an a-arm and can't get a replacement anywhere handy.

the zd racing truggy got an awesome review from rccaraction. only difference was that 1/8 truggy was over 500 bucks lol. it looked cool and all but no parts availability but good luck with your buggy let us know how it is! for less than 200 rtr might be a good cheap way to get into indoor 1/8 e class.

It arrived! Everything looks good so far except all the springs are too soft, the thing is practically on the ground. But it did come with spacers for the coil springs.

This thing is fast!!!! it gets out of control fast I have a wobbly wheel now from a little crash

I got a Traxxas Slash Raptor body for it and it fits perfect! I just need to make some body mounts

I ran it again and I noticed it was a little noisy, damn set screw flew out of the pinion. Looks like I will be putting loctite on it tonight

Looks like a good vehicle, I just can't find any big selection of parts online for it.. Shame, it looks like it could be a lot of fun I just would be afraid to break it.

It seems tough but it is extremely fast and gets out of control easily....
It needs a front bumper

Sure it's fun now....

Wait until it breaks and you need to find parts for it

BIC lighters are cheap compared to a Zippo...
Why?... Because you throw them away the very first time they have an issue.

dude, even if you did break it, you can just buy a whole new one by selling the electronics and tires and wheels on here. there's your money.
