Default 1/16 grave digger

I just got one used. I'm a huge digger fan first thing I did was make it 4wd, much to my wife's surprise she looked at me like this then shook her head and left lol. Anyway I have been looking for any good tips or tricks for this little guy. I know it's the same as a mini summit but I'm just not finding much any one got any tips for me or weak spots I should look out for thanks

I haven't done anything to mine, I got one for my son in the Spring and he has beat the hell out of it all summer and nothing has broken. Only I can advise is get the "Y" cable to run two batts together and buy as many extra batts as possible. The suckers are fast too!

Anyone lock the rear diff in one of theses things yet it has quickly become my favorite basher and actually crawled much better than I thought it would with a locked rear it would do better and be able to do dounts better I just don't want to start braking stuff

Is it just the motor geting hot or dose the esc get hot as well ? See if I can help some if the motor gets to hot and the ecs is cool then you are under geared (the pinion is to small or spur is to big) if the esc gets hot and motor is cool then you over geared (spur is to big or pinion to small) hope that helps

I have an old school stampede 2wd that I used super glue to lock the rear diff in. It didn't really affect much in the handling dept, but it did crazy things in a rollover if your finger is still on the throttle. Every time a rear wheel hits the ground it will shoot off in a different direction. Loads of laff's.
