The mrc axle worked perfectly. With shaved down hexes that is.

Back on this one full force ! And it's getting better by the day.

Decided the stereo system in the truck could use a lil more kick so I took some speakers out of a laptop and built them into the door panels then hooked them up to a 3rd amp. They really did the trick.

This thing is so bad ass. Any info on the axle? Is it narrowed? A bagged short bed clod badly is my next project so I am interested in your layout.

Awesome project. Always have a soft spot for 2nd gen s-10/sonoma .

@calderwood- nice, I should have never sold my 99 extcab dime. Laid frame on 18s back when 20s were "huge"

No doubt man... This is cooler than an Igloo... I remember seeing your old S10 somewhere a few years back. Probably back when I was building my fullsize. Dang I miss those days... My '95 was rocking the SD super lift 3-link with Slam re-8's. Looked like a 3/4 ton 4x4 at full lift, and could stuff a 22 at zero psi. Rode like a Caddy with the Cali lean. 60 and 40 psi. 80 up front if you planned on turning lol.

You guys have been asking for an update so here it is. It's been a long time coming but I finally have made some major progress. Running into a ton of problems especially with the front frame section just because of the scale and all the moving parts. So much to the point I had to redo most of the truck. I'm on the right track now so updates will be frequent starting now. Here are a few pics of where I stand.

Here is the new front frame setup. It's in the begining stages, definitely needs to be tied together for strength. I'm hoping everything will clear.

Here is a couple random shots . Later today I will be making the front A arms so expect another update !

Thank you sir

Working on the control arms.

It's going to be quite a tight fit in there for everything.
