No it's actually just mdf wood that I dug out with a file. When it came time to braze them together I covered it with aluminum foil so I didn't catch them on fire. It worked out nicely.

the engine is a 1/12 scale diecast model. They come in a set of 3 , different year corvette motors

Holy cow ! its been a long damn time since I updated this thing hasn't it ! Well here it is so far. I have 18 days to completely finish it for a car show, lets see if I can make that happen .But for now , here are some pics. Frame is 90% done.

Chassis is done. added the second optima battery holder and body mounts then cleaned it all up which was a real pain in the ass. But I want it to look good after paint so it needed to be done .





Painting the chassis and control arms now.
