I dont know the maker of the body . A buddy of mine got 4 of them at a flea market a few years ago and finally sold them to me . The body is about 15in long and about 5 1/4in wide . It is very thick and detailed . All are cut up so I dont see any maker marks . Bought the rims today . They are aluminum which I wanted and have a nice clean not too flashy look to them . Here is the audio that will be going in it . That is a MP4 player all cut up that will be molded into the dash . Those speakers are about the size of a quarter and pack a punch for what they are . |

Did some work on the chassis and planning the suspension which is proving harder then I thought it would be . This is my first time brazing brass and I got it down pretty quick so I cant complain too much. Got the rims in . These are perfect and the offset will give me alot more room for the control arms . The LS1 is diecast and quite heavy . I will remake the bottom half from styrene and place the diecast heads , intake , and pully system on it to save weight . The axlewill be a custom shortened MRC rear axle. More on that later . Here is a general idea of how she will be sittin . |

My buddy works at Napa and sent me pics of these s-10 trucks that are highly detailed. Pretty sure this is the same. He had quite a few in the store and he was selling them to me for $20 But I honestly forgot about them till now.

So this has been on the back burner for a few but Im back at it. Working on the styrene work lately . The screen is molded in the dash and I love the way it turned out . The blow through speaker box is being wrapped up as well. Here is a small vid of the screen at work. The shift knob will be made to control the functions of the mp4 player . Dont kind the wires all over . They are the extensions for the buttons . Also need to shape it out and make the center counsel. Last edited by 86 Iroc; 06-17-2013 at 04:00 PM. |

well life has kicked me in the head an awful lot lately and force me to put all my RC projects either on hold or in for sale section.I kept this one because it is one of my favorite builds so far. I can have some spare time so I'm going to start on it once again. Here's a couple pics showing some new progress |
