Default Daughters basher!

Well she is turning 2 in a week and I recently started to get back into rc stuff. She has been showing interest in daddy's toys so I scored this Blackfoot extreme of eBay for $25 shipped! It was complete and in good shape minus a body and radio. Even came with a ESC and bigger motor. I figured what better little truck to start her with. I had a scarlet bandit body left over from another project so I made a custom chassis to shorten the wheelbase, slapped some pink paint on the wheels and its almost there. I have to sort out the battery mount and body mounts and it will be a runner. Not bad for one night of tinkering and $50 with price of truck an a stock axial 2.4 system for it.

I need one of those for my daughter, maybe that would spark more interest! Nice score.

Ordered some aluminum shocks. When they arrive I can start making some shock towers with body mounts.

Well the shock towers are simple but they will get the job done. Looks nice overall. Now I just have to figure out a battery mount. I am suprized there are not more universal battery mount kits. Guess I will have to fab one up.
