Just wondering if there had been a meeting time nailed down yet. Me, Bad Apple , The Bug, and one more are in the middle of deciding a time to leave from the Wilkes Elkin Area. 10:00 am sounds good to us the last I herd. Looking forward to making the trip and a great day of crawling, just don't want to be late.

Is there a place where we all can meet and the drive there or is there a address I can put into my nav system to get there. Plan on stopping and getting a biscuit before playing.

Best place is probably Bojangles. That way we can eat, network a little and then caravan to the site. There is a Bojangles off exit 49B on I-26 (Hendersonville nc). Anyone can PM me for cell#.

Ha, yeah I guess that sounded like we were already on the way

So is everyone getting their rigs fine-tuned and ready to hit the trail? I always feel like there's more I need to do.

Good news! The TJ is finally.. ready! I would say "finished" but we all know that's a load of BS. Scalers are never finished... there are just brief moments between rebuilds.

I see most of you guys are running scx based rigs. Hope its ok that us southern boys run wraiths with brushless hp. What kind of tires would you guys recommend? Also can we get a list of guys/gals that are planning on coming. I'm Marcus and should have Jason, Josh, and possibly Todd coming with me from SC.

Mitchell here. I think it will be cool to see how many different types of rigs show up!

Marcus, Proline TSLs are awesome trail tires on the Wraith, and pitbulls will make it unstoppable. Wraiths are good on just about any soft compound tires, even stock ripsaws. They need some weight in the front wheels if your running the battery in stock position, and lowering one slightly helps the balance big time.

I'll be there with the "Elkin" crew (Bad Apple, Gadget10, and Jason)(we really need to find Jason a "name")
Looks like the weather is going to be favorable-upper 50s and sunny
If everybody that has posted shows up we'll have a mountain full of crawlers

I'm Jeremy. I'll be running PitBulls on the orange TJ pictured above. I haven't weighted my wheels any yet. This will be the 1st outing for the TJ, so this is a test session!
