Default When is the Comp at the LAKE ?

Has any discussion been made about the comp at the lake ?

I heard in Bismarck that all of Sept. is not good for some people.

If Sept. is out maybe we should hold a non points event in Fargo or G.F. just for S&G....or maybe go and check out the Jamestown resivoir....

Any time in Sept. works for me...

Maybe just a scaler run or a full comp not counting towards the series..

Please post what you guys are thinking....

i would like to see everyone at from the points series at the lake so were trying to get a date that works best for everyone. i know that some of us will not be able to make it so maybe will just have to make a date in hopes that most of us can. ive also been tossing the idea around of making it a 2 day event trail rigs on day and comp the next camping at the spot.

i am game for a gtg or whatever in sept just make a date and the place. what is the resivoir like is it river rock or big rock i would like to try that if possible try something new. let me know ahead of time so we can make plans.

Is this the spot we'd have to take a boat to?

I just bought a tent and am down for some late-night drunken crawling, who's got lights on their trail rigs?

The only weekend in Sept I have anything going on is the weekend of the 5,6,7. Jason and I will be in Bemidji for a funfly. I am free all the rest of the weekends.

I am definately up for whatever the plan is. The spot looks incredible and it would be fun to play there for awhile not just three courses of a comp.

Anyone need a sleeping partner if we camp. Let me know. I don't have a tent.

I think a 2 day event would be cool. A bit of camping and crawling.

Like I said, I am open any weekend so let's get this thing going....

well im up for anything also. i might try and hit up a car show in sd late september but other than that im good. we talked about mid october but thats iffy with the weather and i think there may be alot of spooning going on when the temp drops at night. im thinking that the camping things is the way to go have the trail ride one day and the comp the other. ill check on how much it is to rent a spot and im thinking we can all set up in one spot. and yes we have to take a boat across the lake its about a mile and a half across.

I was informed today that the weekend of the 13th is not going to work for me...

But the rest of Sept. is still looking good...

I am really looking forward to the whole camping/crawling, sounds like it will be a GREAT time...

im up for the 11 of oct if everyone else is it may be a bit chilly at night but oh well. lets just plan for that and have a get together in sept. we can have one here if you guys want to our rocks are rearranged and it has some really fun lines. if anyone else would rather have a gtg in there town for sept lets post it up so everyone can make plans.

jay you can get there by car im sure there is a house about a half mile away the only thing is that there is a 50ft cliff that you would have to go down to get to the water. are you afraid of boats?

boats are fine by me, but I'm bringing a tent, 2-3 rigs, sleeping bags, a cooler full of booze, and possibly even firewood

Who has a boat and what size is it

Jay, I think we would camp on the landing side of the lake. So your tent, booze, firewood would not have to make the treck across the lake.

As far as the weekend of the 11th goes, I will be in Oklahoma for Crawlapalooza and Jason will be in Taylors Falls for their Fall finals comp.

You guys just need to pick a date and run with it. The odds of picking a date that works for everyone is pretty slim. My suggestion is to just pick the date and if someone wants to make it bad enough they will rework things to make it. If not that is why we have a throwout. Just my 2 cents.

Default GTG.....Mini Comp September 20th

Tony and I are planning a GTG/Mini comp on Saturday the 20th of September in Fargo. We have a new spot for crawling and an AWESOME place for trail runnning. We are thinking of doing a trail type course. We will be working on the course the weekend before the GTG to have all the trails cleaned up and build some obstacles as well.

Post here if you can make it and when the time draws near we will finalize the time and place to meet.

Thanks everyone.......
