oh it's good fun. It gets real interesting right after they spray the track and you have that wet surface. Lots of sideways action I'm planning on going this sunday. Not sure if I'll stick around for the racing or not but I'll definitely get in 4+ hours of practice. |

You think I could run in the spec class with a sidewinder esc and a stock motor? I dont have lipo cut off and all I have is lipo batteries, so I use my sidewinder as a safeguard. Either way, any columbus guys want to carpool to akron for a slash race? PM me Last edited by tjscrogins99; 07-07-2008 at 05:57 PM. |

| What size lipo? I don't think anyone running lipos in the slashes (which is most) runs a cutoff. We only run 5 minute quals and 10 minute mains.

I bought one last sat. to enter a race. This was at the hobbytown Boardmans first outdoor race. Great fun with a stock truck! In northern Ohio they will race at Medina, Akron and Boardman. Not sure if Fastraxx will run a class but I'm sure they will. Most of the ohio tracks will follow suit in no time. I am going to try to make it down to Classic soon as they have just got some new dirt in I hear. There is a set of rules being used in this area to keep things equal for all racers. I will be a fun way to race for old racers like me to new entry level people. |

I know I read about it on another board. It should be good with the changes. Like I said I will be down soon to check it out but I have drove over 800 miles in the past few weeks racing and I.m going to stay close to home for a few weeks.

Don't blame ya. I don't travel much anymore. I'm curious to see what he does with all the dirt. It needed work. It was a pretty flat layout and was getting rutted up pretty bad. I was trying to run my XXX-4 on it and I was all over the place (doesn't help that I haven't set it up for the track yet too) How is that boardman track? I've heard some good things about that. I think my buddy is going out to austintown this weekend or next? I've run out medina when they aren't racing before. They always have a top notch track. Free practice too! |

boardman had sticky clay in the evening. Smaller track but fun. Only problem was the drivers stand it had problems getting your vision blocked by others. I'm sure in time they will get things fixed. I was testing some of my cars out on sunday at medina. Should have a race this sat there. I hope.

I might try to make it down to classic on the 20th. I am skipping one of the ohio pro series races that weekend. I want to try out crawling soon with totally stock axial soon also. Looks like fun but main racing is taking all of my time. |
