I was in there yesterday looking for some of that rust paint, styrine and motors. They didnt have any thing i was looking for. Next time one of you guys place an order for mats let me know, id like to get some styrene sheets I wanna try my hand at building a cap for the chevy and some round to build a winch for the front. I hope some of the kids that were there last week show up this week and decide to buy trucks. Id like to build up that points fund and get started on another course. I want this one to be alittle more scaler friendly and more like what you would see out west with rockier terrain.

John's Hobby Shop used to have styrene. I haven't been there in over a year to buy it though. It would probably pay to call first. Can't remember how competitive the prices were, but the selection was decent. They have a ton of models there too.

As long as epoxy can hold a plutonium magnet I'm in good shape. Already have my LED schematic now just have to dig and find the right resistors. I hate looking for the colors on those damn things.

Gotta question for you guys, my buddy from Marysville has to buy his GF a car, so he dont have money to buy a micro this week but seeing as its the last week to get in on the points i said he can barrow my truck.

Are there any rejections to this idea ?
If so ill build my other one back up and just swap esc's and make him run the stock body.

Whatcha guys think ?

I don't see a problem with it. Tell him that if he buys her a car, she better get him a micro. Or have him find a car that is $119 cheaper and he's set.

Dude on scale4x4 had it, i was watching it he originally posted it for 100 shipped, which was a good price for a NEW RTR.
Tonight he dropped it to 88 shipped, so i pounced on it lol.

It's ALIVE! Still some details to figure out later but at least I can drive it around. Lubed up my 'pecker, now it flexes a little smoother. What time you getting there tomorrow?
