Without further adieu Neos Pecker Scalers bush i got mine up and running, might be a little more top heavy but its better than buying a new reciever-esc unit. The only downside is there is no lipo cut off. I just have to pay attention to my run times. Im back to the stock motor right now Im gonna look in to a bb2. I think im going to try to find someone to do a fet stack for me so i dont have this problem again. heres some pics I left the points sheets in the jeep so i can get the individual runs up later if you want. the totals were Dave 120 Scaler 96 Neo 77 Bull 74 |

Holy 70's that's alot of bush! The rolling milkcrate on txt axles was pretty sweet. It needs a trailer that cantilevers open towed behind it, or a milkcrate on axles behind it. Last edited by NeoNeoN; 03-03-2010 at 08:44 PM. |

Wow you guys are getting a little kinky. Anyway im heading over to sluggers today to pick up a BND. I'm gonna use the receipt to send back my cooked ESC. I think i sold my nikko fj body so that helps. Ill use those axles under my zombie killer untill I get around to building the toyota. I looked into the bb2, its a 41000 rpm motor. I think thats just a little to fast. I may go ahead pick up a brushless kit with the 8750kv motor. ill put it in one of my scalers and see how i like it. I wouldnt mind being able to catch some air prerunner style with one of my micro rock crawlers.

Hi Fellas, I was wondering if anyone could post some updated pics of the course for reference. I was inspired to build a micro course after checking out Bull's thread in the micro forum. Just wanted to see if I could learn anymore or if more had been made. It sucks my sched does not let me come out to see it in person but my 2.2 comps in town are all I can squeek by the wife. Other than that, I was wondering if a BB motor was the cause of the ESC Rx prob I was reading about above. I am stock motor now but was thinking about a BB but didnt know if it would damage anything. Nice to see some one making good use of theese little gems |

| G-D you guys. I'm gonna have to wait a little. How am I supposed to get my bigger projects done when I'm working on these? Scaler, you seem to have it figured out with staying up late till 9. I needed the extra sleep last night so I went to bed at 8. As far as the motors are concerned, we are all running the stock/stock replacement motors. Bull, you can get a 12mm brushless at around 4100kv. Check it out. http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?products_id=3167 I think pinions may become an issue though. Get one, figure it out and then I'll copy what you do. May have to call it Xerox works. |

I just figured out my "out of the blue" binding problem. Remember my torsion chassis with the thread to keep it from wrapping under its self ?...... somehow a chunk of thread got inside the spur cover and wrapped around the pinion, then between the pinion and spur.... LOL. |

Ive got my parts figured out, just need to track down an ESC. ESC Its equipped with an anti-cog thingy http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-bru...a-p-12564.html Motor I hope it will fit in the wedge Its longer than stock by 9mm I hope i can mirror the tranny and make it fit. Its the 28 turn long. If it doesnt fit ill go with the 58 turn short http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT spec sheet |
