If it warms up I'm in. Cold weather = very short run times with liposuction. |

Lipos work fine. Your Silvercan motor with 2 2100 mah batts will never get you through a full run through echo |

| Re: Central Ohio Scalers Ha,ha. Actually they are 1800s. And one battery got me half way.. However in cold weather count on 50% or less battery life. Now I wish I had an old nimh laying around.

50% Maybe 30 at tops. I use 2 1800 and make it all day + some. That silver can on 2s is killing you. I have a 2s 2100 that you can use too if you want. |

me and my dad are having some issues, his tranny is real chopy when you turn it but there is nothing wrong, he even took the spur off and spun the shaft. i took the 2075 and put metal gears in it and the work and turn great but it is pretty loud when you turn it, then i put the xl-5 in it and siliconed up the reciever box and that works. next on my list is to put 35 weight in all the shocks and put grease and grease holes in the axles and tranny like they do with the losi comp crawler. |

Did you take it apart? The middle gear strips first usually. Are the driveshafts still hooked up? Nice repair on the trail too |

Gabe had same problem on his wraith. On 3s you need a bec if you have a decent servo on it.

My Slash and VXL system would do that with a MaxAmps lipo when it was cold outside. The cold lipo would voltage sag and trip the low voltage for 3S. The VXL can suck down 100 amp bursts, so the battery has to be extra beefy when it's cold outside.
