alwaysliked F-Toy's, fun to drive too. Great idea. A true lexan crawler body. Comp worthy and scale at the same time.

Took the new body out today. It works well, with my setup it rubs a bit on the front but not enough to warrant cutting it more. Even despite of the flat roof it rolls pretty nicely backwards. Here are some pics:

The front was always IMO the least attractive angle of the body. But its grown on me.

I "overdid" the sponsor decals on purpose to make it look more scale. Those 1:1 Ftoys sure are full of stickers...

Also tried the new Gmade Bighorns. Not so special...

Looks awesome, the second pic looks like part of the Fordyce trail.

Wow, that went from what I thought was going to be the worst body ever to very, very cool. I want to see one slammed!

Trainer, Roadkill, great job! Those look super nice... I'd been wondering if anyone was going to make some lexan tuber bodies. I hate hacking up a fullsize body, refuse to own one of those spaceship looking things, and hate slot car sized bodies on "1/10th scale" rigs. This is very close to fitting the bill for me! I've still got a few concerns/questions, though.

What is it's weight all painted up? I'm curious how it compares to a painted "conventional" body.

Are y'all running sprung or droop setups? Our terrain dictates lots of ground clearance around here and that may set the body up pretty high and then it'll be back to looking pretty goofy/top heavy.

Has anyone trimmed out the windows yet? Seems that'd be a good way to trim weight from up high, plus if you trim the "roll cage tubing" you could drop the roof line fairly easily I would think. Of course, this may end up being a bad thing in comps. The open windows could catch on things and the lower roof line could hurt rolling back over.

Mine weighs 3.35 oz. My hacked Betty weighs 3.75 oz (because of the rivets and hot glue) and my HPI Bronco full size body weighs 6.10 oz.

Our terrain requires much the same. I am running sprung with Xspede shocks limited to 4.25" with a GC of 3".

to me it looks very scale with the 1.9's. looks exactly how someone would build a 1:1.

A stinger on the front would set that off!
