Looks great with 1.9's

It looks kinda weird in this pic (no offense to the owner, it's PL's fault)

The gas tank is a ghost!

They wont be cool until some one does one on leafs. F-toys are leaf only.

Default my turn

well after reading this thread from the begining i decided to pull the spyder out of the closet and finally give it life. i needed a body for my new ax10 comp build so i said why not...
this is the result

all tamiya rattle cans with some parma stencils, is not all that good but will do for now.
BTW i choose pink cause i already have matching wheels

Red face

It looks fine mounted lower on the chassis and with the 'chopped roof...that tall roof looks, well, funny...

That is an X-chassis. Not an F-Toy.

Randy, you should know better.

I absolutely hated this body when I first saw it. But after seeing some of the pics in this thread, I've completely changed my mind about it

So what. Since the spider body has the fake front shocks, it is likely that Proline was copying a xchassis buggy anyway, which is also linked like the scorpion. I was just pointing out that the (pretty much) same tube body exists with coilovers also. Besides, Proline never claimed it was a Ftoy body, the similarity was picked up here.

Here you go:

The small squares are 1 cm, 5 cm is about 2 in. The angle of the pic adds a bit of length and width (should be 38cm x 16cm)
