Default Styrene ?

What is the best way to add color to styrene work, paint or dying. I thought about using dye since im making inner fenders and the paint would chip off after time.

Paint all the way. Chips and scratches give it character. If you're worried about damaging the paint, leave it at home on the shelf.

If you plan on dying it, the boiling process will melt and warp the shape of the styrene.

I've had great success with using an aerosol vinyl dye, like the kind that you would use to change the color of vinyl upholstery in a car.
