Default scuff repair

The inside paint on my comp crawler is fine, but the outside scratches, scuffs and abrasions from flips and falls affect the appearance.

Any kind of polish compound that will improve the appearance? Maybe a scratch filler or something?

If you happen to have some Mop-n-Glo around the house you can try that. The PC-1 kit is basically glorified Mop-n-Glo. Basically you sand down the scuffs, apply the MnG, let it dry, do another coat, then buff with fine steel wool. Worked good but after a couple rides it would get dull and you'd have to do it again.

I've read that Rain-X also makes lexan shine and will fill in small scratches/scuffs but I have yet to try that.

Parma makes a product called Fashine. It claims to remove dirt and scratches while adding a shine to the lexan. TowerHobbies.com | PAR40203 40203 Parma Fashine Body Wash/Wax

I'm thinking that the auto parts kits for restoring headlight lenses might be the way to go. But they're like a 5-step process of medium thru ultrafine sandpaper and then polishing.

I was hoping someone would come up with a success story using an automotive scratch filler or something. Or Minwax comes to mind. All the above products sound promising, but has anyone actually used them, or just heard of people using them?
