Default Hilux Body Stretched To Fit 12.3" SCX10

Had this body laying around since my TF2 now wears a Blazer body and thought it would be cool on my SCX10, but didn't want to shorten the wheelbase because I use other bodies on that chassis. Ordered up a new bed and started cutting to add 5/8" to the front of the bed. Also cut the bed floor and made styrene shock towers for a mounting point, the front mounts with Velcro. I also lengthened the cap by the same 5/8". Then it was sand, fill, sand, prime, sand, many times.

Really nice body work. Looks very much like a standard toyota bed.

I must say I like it, have a TF2 body myself that I'd like to stick on my SCX10-II one of these days and that is a very good idea.

Thank you for the compliments. I made a set of styrene inner front fenders and a panel under the bed as well as a spare tire to fill in some of the space between the body and frame. Next will be the paint when we get some warmer weather.
