The chose a great year IMO. It's a great looking body.

This is another body that would have been so much better with an additional hard plastic, chrome grille though!

Yeah I wish the lexan manufacturers would start doing small hard plastic details i.e. grills, lights, mirrors, etc.

i'm going to pre-order this for SURE.

Jato told me about it earlier and man i couldn't be happier! well, maybe if it had an optional bed, but i have a feeling they might reveal that later, like the SR-5.

the only minor gripe i have is the huge fender openings that go up over the trim. eh, minor gripe. i'll take it for the rest of the awesomeness!
for being lexan they really did great on the grill shape. and a stock front bumper! woo!

I quoted you on another thread. It's up for preorder at RPP now.

I didn't even notice the fender into the trim until you said it. Now I can't unsee it. That looks horrible!

I have the HPI version with the bed. It might be discontinued though

sticker grills don't cut the mustard.

the lexan molded grill is actually not bad on this Proline. Its better than the HPI version, and better than the Jconcepts version that i currently have. barely. PL wins by including a stock bumper. that said, if anyone gets this and cuts off the bumper... I CAN HAZ?
i plan on cutting out the grill opening entirely, and making a styrene version that will be held in with shoe goo. (had this already planned for the Jconcepts version anyway)

i understand about the fender openings. Proline made this for the K10 vaterra, and its fender openings are large to clear the stock TSL's it comes with. its a bummer but there is a valid reason. kudos to Proline for even doing this. I'm willing to overlook the fender openings... if they give us a full bed later!

That's exactly what I was thinking. If it had a bed I'd put one on my SMT10 in a heartbeat. Still can't decide on a body for that truck.

The fender openings would be the same on a full size if you put 47’s under it which is what we are doing.

JConcepts has some nice Fords. Did you check those out?

I've been leaning towards the Proline Ford F100 body. I'm not married to the idea of a Ford. Just like that '60s truck look.

I was very excited when I first saw this, but there's some parts that are bugging me....the wheel arch goes into the trim line which is way too high....the roof looks chopped....no bed....Proline never provides trim decals for the body or glass which is a major disappointment. I'll wait for an HPI re-release one day.

The more I look at it the more I like my stock Vaterra K10 cab... at first I was on my phone, didn't notice the details. My biggest turn-offs (is this Playboy magazine?) are the grille and the heavy brow look the top of the windshield has. Don't mind the fenders that much, guess I'd prefer a different year Ford as well - I like late '60s and early '70s F-100s much more.

We need to get RC Nerds to crank out some parts for this body.

That dude can work some magic with lexan and 3D printing (as evidenced by this Proline C10).
