Where to get styrene?

Stopped by the train shop (it's like 3 miles from my son's orthodontist) and they have EVERYTHING!!! even plastruct and all the bonding stuff. cool laid back couple of guys in there too. They let my son and I snoop around for a while and they never bothered me until I asked.
My son was floored by all the HO scale that is very close to hot wheels.
I promised him and the 2 gentlemen we would be back for sure.

Now to figure out what the heck to build... Maybe a cab wall? *hint*

I did find that McMaster carries it.

What thickness should I choose for building something like a small trailer bed if I use metal frame rails?

What thickness does everyone get. I have .50&.75 but it doesn’t seem thick enough. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Lol

Varies by the build. I did a bunch of bodywork on my 1/6 Hasbro jeep, I needed something thick to match the thickness of the existing body, I used some really heavy 1/16 inch styrene. if you're going to frame it with metal, Like Jato wants to do, you can get away with something thinner.

I ended up getting the styrene through Ebay, the variety pack. It came with 3 different thickness'sseses (lol)
