| tan lexan paint?
Does anybody make a tan lexan paint, preferably in a rattle can? I looked at Tamiya and Duratrax and neither of them seems to offer tan, which kind of shocks me. I have a couple lexan interiors that I need to do in tan. Being an interior, I suppose I could get away with a non-lexan paint, but obviously I'd prefer something that'll actually stick.

Go head and grab the TS tan and also PS flat clear. Spray the PS clear onto the lexan, then follow it with the TS tan. After you spray the tan, is when you'll wait to do your second pass. Because it's only an interior, you can probably get away with 2 passes only, but overall once you've sprayed your final tan layer, seal it with another layer of clear.

Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating, Desert Sand (HVP108 ) They also have Medium Beige (HVP113) if you want a little darker. Been using the Duplicolor on lexan for 15+ years. Never chips, never flakes. The only drawbacks? Limited colors, and it keeps getting more expensive (like everything else.) But instead of a 3oz Tamiya can for $10, you get an 11oz can for $13. I can usually get two full bodies out of one can, so you could do a whole bunch of interiors. |

Yup, use the PS55 as your base/primer as it won’t crack. Then you can use the TS or AS Tamiya sprays. The AS line is primarily military colors Hang up and Drive | |
