Anybody try sandblasting the outside of the body to dull it? Maybe some really fine sand and low pressure..?

thats cool. I painted mine black red grey camo on the outside. When it rolls and scratches it looks real. I havent went done to the clear coat yet. Everyone one told me it wouldnt last a day crawling but i have had it like that for almost 6 months and holding up great.

Hey Mnster, Can you tell me where you found the brown/rust you used on the inside. I haven't found a lexan paint that color unless you mixed it?

I also used the Tamiya copper inside and an old can of Pactra bright yellow outside. Major orange peel efect, then I wet sanded till the yellow got real thin. More dents and add on details yet to come.

It's not for lexan paint. If it chips it really no big deal it's a matter of seconds to respray. The area's it shows are minimal. The paint I have been using has not chipped at all though. Tamiya red brown.
