Yea, I got this one from Dewey CJ5 last summer after mentioning that I wished it was still around so I could try it on my Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper.

YOu might look at HPI's Porsche 911 Carrera and Lancia Stratos bodies for their Cup Racer line. I tried the 911 and the body was close enough that maybe using some 1mm front and 3mm rear offset TC rims would get you close and the Lancia would be about the same. He hasn't brought it into the store I work at yet, but a customer is in the process of putting the Lancia on his last I talked to him

The Datsuns will be too long Manuel, you need the 210mm WB bodies IIRC.

Don't know if anybody would make one in Lexan (it would be more appropriate for a sedan chassis anyway), but apparently Dodge has built an Avenger Rally concept car and looking at the feasability of making parts to support teams wanting to rally the things!

I'd love to see a avenger rally, I really think dodge could have been rocketed back into profit if the srt-4 has been offered in AWD. Hell, I'd love to see rally at all. I cancelled my cable when "speed channel" cancled WRC and ran all nascrap al the time.

Here's a link to the article abnout that car http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/...ger-rally.html

Sounds like it's just a FWD rally car (although I thought they offered it with AWD when Daimler was running them into the ground...), but seeing as it's related to the Caliber, Journey, the "Jeep" crossovers, and supposedly the Lancer and Evo, an awesome AWD system should be possible on the car!

A little update on my Fiesta, I stripped the chrome off the wheels and installed a pair of ThunderPOwer 1800mAh, 2s, 65/130c lipos in it last night, I did have to Dremel the chassis and battery doors for wire clearance though.

Your LHS can order them from Horizon Hobby And they have a "street price" of $39.99 each. I Think I paid $34 a pop for mine at work.

These packs work nicely, between these and the 1/10 VXL system, it puts down too much power for the stock tires, but I haven't run my "grip" tires on it yet.

great googly moogly, I just realized you have the 1/10th setup in there. I can't even drive the 1/16th without it wrecking it. Granted I have it lifted a bit for actual offroad driving.

Lol, you hadn't caught that yet Jer? Luckily my driveway and my neighbor's driveway are both paves and pretty much connected.

Can you add stickier tires, or different diff fluid to make this thing track better, or is it alway going to drift?

Tires are easily done since these can use Touring Car tires and rims like in the picture below,

I'm thinking of maybe trying the 120k or 500k in the front and 500k or OFNA Diff Lock in the rear as well as bumping the shock oils up to 50 wt now that I have the stiffer spring on it. Reason is that the car is now very tippy between the stiffer springs, less weight (those TP's are a good bit lighter than stock!), and the above rolling stock.probably will need to play with the camber too before too long..

I'm not totally sure what killed the XL-2.5, it might have been the factory servo, I'm running two now and don't have any problems with either at the moment. I am going to start screwing around with the diff and shock oils in it though, it rolls too easily with the HPI tires on it in my driveway.
