I'm not too worried about batteries, the stock radio will be replaced with my 2.4 Link radios when I can get to the storage area next and I can use these batteries in the portable charger for my MCX2 I'll see if I can shoot a little video in the back room at my store after we close and get the place cleaned up, right now we have Friday Night Magic going on back there It does seem to lean when harder than my folks Town & Country when pushing it hard though......but un like that damn van, this thing will turn when you ask it too

Is that a 550 motor in the car? Like the one that comes stock in a Slash? Maybe a brushless system will fit

That chassis looks so small with the titan in it.
I have a 1/16 vxl merv and it's a wildcat on 2s, I can't even imagine it with a 1/10 vxl... madness I tell you!

well then let's find a parking lot!
I'm going out bashing tomorrow afternoon somewhere. There's a hospital on the chicago/evanston border that keeps the lot nice and clean for me as far as I can tell because no cars ever park there!

I am working today and the car has been put up for the winter

Changed a couple very minor things and took a few new pics;

I added some black border sticker sections to the roof, hood vents, and for a grill opening between the lights as well as changed over to the optional bumper grills.

Added Electrical tape to the insides of the body post holes, flares, bumpers, and doors/rockers to protect the paint and reinforce the thin body, when I paint the next body for it, I'll bedline the inside of that one.

An obligatory flex shot.................hey, it is related to the Summit

And if somebody is wondering if it's green.................

Yes, very

Will that motor and tranny work in the 1/16 revo? I ask because i have one but am not sure if the chassis are exact or not. Do you have any info on this? I would like a VXL system for 1/10 vehicle in there. I fried the one in it now up but its the small one I think. (i would look but its at my parents)

I wouldn'tr be surprised it the trans case and the guts were shared with the all of the 1/16 cars and trucks, I think the biggest difference in the 550 setup will be how the motor mounts on the trans on the Rally and Summit with the 550 vs all of the other cars. Other wise this thing is mechanically the same as the Slash minus shock limiters and fluids, swap out the arms, rods, springs, driveshafts and rolling stock for the Revo, then rocker arms and rolling stock for the Summit.

All 1/16 Traxxas vehicles share the same trans. The only differences now are the parts for the 550 motors; motor plate, motor mount, gear cover, and Rx box. If you want to put the 550 in a Revo, you'll have to raise the body, or cut a hole to provide clearance for the motor.

Looks like Parma's old 1st gen Dodge Neon body wlill fir if you run deep offset wheels and radius the openings or use M chassis/Cup Racer wheels from Tamiya or HPI. I'll post the pick later tonight.

I want to put the normal VXL system in this one so it's kinda comparable to my Mamba 4600 equipped Mini Cooper.

You're going to put in a VXL-3S??? Holy smokes man, have fun with that! Make sure to glue your tires, or you'll be chasing one down

If it's like my Mini-Cooper on 3s, I won't have to chase them down because they explode at speed

Here's the thread on it, the carnage starts on page 2
