Default BVRC's Cirus Carbon XV-01

Big ups to Haplm for bringing this chassis to our attention. Our little rally group in Colorado had no idea we could get this kit. Thanks again Haplm!

This chassis comes from this cool little place in Prague. Contact them if you are interested.

I'll be running Tamiya's metal gear diffs... 5k front 3k rear. Might have to go heavier though...

I had to mod this steering part to make things work... Maybe I misunderstood something about the setup, but this piece was much too long... had to drill new holes and shorten it up a bit...

You're welcome . I'm really looking forward to see your build.

BTW, if you can, try to put all the electronics on the bottom plate. Something that I haven't done initially, but I definitely want to do it during winter...

I'm taking parts from the xv scrap bin, just trying to piece this thing together. Things are coming along!

Side by side of this Cirus carbon next to my xv-01.

Weighing in..... The carbon car is 224 grams lighter than the xv-01. That's about the same weight as one of my 2s packs.

I'm using rear dogbones. I guess if I could, I'd put rear CVDs in there, but this will work just fine.

That white thing on the front end is a piece of styrene. Just a little bumper support.

FPV gear!.... No head tracking, so the functionality is pretty limited. For now, I'm taking the voltage out of my hitec rx and sending it to the camera and vtx. That would change if I were to really make use of an fpv car. Head tracking and proper power distribution would make this setup pretty damn cool.

I'm really curious how you will like it. Especially if it helps you drive better
