I like it! If that rig performs as good as it looks, it will be a beast on the rock course.

| Well..I know I could easily fix the steering problem by putting the wheel spacers on...but I need to find a spacer that doesn't push the wheels out so damn far... ;)

| I'm hoping to have both this rig and my KK done here pretty soon. I'm in the stages of figuring out wire routing and deciding on the dig switch layout. My lipos are on the way for them and a couple of other small pieces needed to button them up. I want to....well actually NEED to get my azz out and crawl. It's been since the meet in Maricopa that I've been out. |

Not much of an update I know...but it's moving forward Got the dig plate made up. Picked up a HS-55 servo and found some 15A micro switches locally and bought a bunch of them. I'm going to run this dig setup in the Havoc...and I have a Punk dig that I am going to use in my KK/Mini-Clod. That way I can run both at the same time to compare the two setups. Used 3/16" acetal for the plate instead of 1/8" so that I could just drill and tap the opposite edges of the plate for screws through the chassis plates. The dig plate will replace the chassis spreader I have between the shocks. Also received my Brood armatures for the motors. I used a pair of Integy 55t cans with fresh brushes and stuffed them with the 40t Brood armatures. Also sanded down the cans and gave them a shot of semi-flat black to keep the color theme going. Not really sure if these motors will stay in this rig or if I will pick up another pair of HH 454 Pullers like what I have for the KK/Mini-Clod. Next can finally come wiring...... |

Still an ongoing build...a bit slow, but going. Still trying to get the rig wired up. I had looked all over locally for some 14g silicone wire to use on the dig switches..to no avail. Finally just ordered it online and it should be here shortly. I have both 12g & 16g here but 12g was a bit large for my liking trying to wire up the dig switches...and 16g would have been too small for the power. Same deal with the connectors. I want to use 4mm bullets in lieu of Deans, and couldn't find an LHS around here that had more than one package...much less find a store that had any at all. Again...finally just ordered some online. Maybe I'll swap in some new LE motors for this rig.... |

What in the ??? Is this actually an update? Well.....it is, but there's not much, so don't hold your breath I hate wiring........................... I tried to make it as clean as I could with the wiring I had and the room I had. If you've ever heard the phrase "10 pounds of **** in a 1 pound bag" you'll know what I mean Almost afraid to show this off...I feel ashamed as to how cluttered it looks. The motor wires are more or less temporary till I get the Warrior LE's from JP. I just quickly soldered them up to get the rig running and dig set up. Got the DX6 all mixed and dig works great. All that's left to do is get the steering mounted up, and paint up a body. |

Well, this rig is finally for the most part done. Got everything final wired now (LE's are in and are badass ). Got the steering completed. Got the body painted and ready to mount (still needs some stickers) Still need to figure out body mounts. Once I get an adapter for my balance plugs...I can get these lipos charged up and get this thing out on the rocks for some video.... |

And...drum roll please....... All done. Got the body mounts figured out and some stickers on 'er. The front of the body acts a bit weird when the rig articulates due to the chassis design. I didn't want to have a cross brace in the front tying the two sides together just to mount a vertical body mount to, so I came off of only one of the side plates with some spacers to center the mount up. Kinda just floats. Lets the chassis still move and twist like it should...but makes the body act a bit retarded. Looks as though it's coming off or something...but it'll do. Time will tell if the mount lasts through several roll overs. Now I can get on to one of the other 5 projects that are sitting |
